It was with the vision that we at Yushfa decided to venture upon what we know the best and what our forefathers had known for so long. Over the two decades ago we decided to show the world what Unani treatment coupled with modern facilities can create; an ideal environment for recovery.
In 1904 a devoted, determined, yet unworldly man, Hakeem Kabir Ahmad Sadiq Sahab — started his matab (clinic) in the sub lanes of Sambhal. With a simple tenet that no one has ever become poor by giving, Hakeem Kabir Sahab let his patients find compassion in him. Unfortunately he passed away and Hakeem Sageer Ahmed Sadiq Sahab walked on the footprints of his father- a very well-known practitioner, who was always committed in making quality healthcare an affordable and accessible reality throughout. Hakeem Rais Sahab took his legacy further and started his practise in 1941. He made a remarkable name in the field of Unani practise and earned many laurels against his name.
Leaving no stone unturned Hakeem Zafar Ahmad Sadiq Sahab further carried the mission and vision laid down by his father, it is the trust of the patients in him that in today’s date he cures and treat at least 400 patients daily.
His sons Hakeem Bukhrat Ahmad Sadiq and Hakeem Rushed Ahmad Sadiq with their extraordinary drive have made a little mark in no time. Both the brothers took responsibilities of curing and treating people which led them to start their respective matabs in Karnal and New Delhi.
Yushfa’s mission is to lessen the suffering and to provide health and educational services to all. Keeping this thought in mind Hakeem Zafar Sahab along with his sons Hakeem Bukhrat, Mr. Luqman and Hakeem Rushed with a great vision of spreading the Unani method of Medicine have established Hakeem Rais Unani Medical College and Hospital in 2010. This Institution is run by Hakeem Rais Educational Social Welfare Society.

The founder of Yushfa, Mr. Zafar Ahmad Sadiq, is one of the most renowned Unani practitioners of his day. A famous philanthropist, the Hakeem’s main intention was to break away from the old tradition and bring in a new way of practice. He started practising in 1982 and has more than 40 years of experience in the sphere of Unani and is one of the fore-runner in promoting Unani globally. His involvement in Unani did not simply start when he first founded Yushfa, rather as a teenager, helping his father Mr. Rais Ahmad Sadiq Sahab at his matab (clinic). Today, he has become a synonymous with integrity and high quality treatment in the field of relatively inexpensive Unani medicines.

Having grown up in the centre of a thriving Unani practice, like his father before him, his inherited Unani know-how paired with his up-to-date experience has led to expanding and escalating Yushfa in a very short span of time. Hakeem Rushed, with his father decided to venture upon what we know best and what their forefathers had known for so long. Over two decades ago, i.e., 1981, he decided to show the world that Unani treatments coupled with modern facilities can give the most effective and genuine treatment as well as beneficial products. He started practising Unani in 2013 with his hard work, dedication and devotion towards his vision of spreading the miraculous healing power of Unani for the well-being of society. He is a specialist in chronic disease’s Unani treatment and life style modification. Areas of expertise include: Hijama, leech therapy, Bukhoor, Joint Pain, Liver disorders; Jaundice, Hepatises (H B, C), and Diabetes.

Then heart and soul behind the Yushfa since its inception is Mrs. Razia Kammo. Her contribution to Yushfa has led to the high standards of knowledge and treatments we offer our patients today. Being the eldest in the fifth generation, Hakeem Bukhrat's contribution to the exemplary growth and continuing success of Yushfa is obvious. He is a firm believer of creating and maintaining the quality and efficacy of Unani treatment. He started practicing in 2008. He emphasize mainly on general health as well as diet and life style alteration to treat any type of disorder. His area of expertise include: Skin disease, Diabetes, Liver disorders and CPOD.

Mr. Luqman belongs from a prominent Unani family in Sambhal, India that is renowned for its great lineage in traditional Unani treatments, with uniquely skill set and creative outlook he has an extensive business experience which makes him the ideal sales and marketing head for Yushfa. He has established himself as a perfect blend of technical skill with excellent business sense.
